Embrace the light of the Finnish summer: long walks, late evenings and nights that never quite grow dark. A gentle ritual with soothing eye compresses and thoughtful care for tired feet, inviting your skin to come alive before autumn arrives.
Your treatment begins with a refreshing infusion of Frantsila summer herbs: a quiet moment to welcome the season from within. Tired feet are soothed with warm herbal compresses and a gentle massage using Frantsila summer-herb oil.
A gentle cleansing awakens your skin and invites its natural glow to return. Ten minutes are dedicated to tidying your eyebrows, followed by a relaxing facial massage. A nurturing Rosel Heim rose mask and soothing rose-water eye compresses offer a moment of stillness, before nourishing rose cream completes the experience.

Rest with your head supported in a specially designed basin while warm water, soft foam and rhythmic scalp massage invite you to let go. Gentle combing tools and carefully chosen Frantsila elements complete this Finnish-inspired ritual for hair, scalp and deep relaxation.

Inspired by the European Kneipp tradition, this carefully tailored soft-brush massage stimulates circulation at the skin’s surface and leaves the body feeling fresh and invigorated. We always check for broken skin, irritation and sensitive areas beforehand. Extra caution — and, where appropriate, medical advice — is needed for diagnosed circulation disorders, diabetes or varicose veins.

A signature facial massage in which slow, flowing movements alternate with more activating massage techniques, before returning to softness and stillness. Created to ease facial tension, awaken the complexion and invite a sense of lightness. Rosel Heim’s pure, high-quality squalane oil is blended with Frantsila Kehäkukka–Porkkana facial oil, bringing calendula and carrot into this nourishing ritual.

Meet Mathilde
I studied music and classical singing at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. As a singer, I understood how important it is to feel comfortable in your own skin — both on stage and in everyday life.
When I experienced skin problems, nothing seemed to help: not expensive, internationally recognised brands, inexpensive drugstore cosmetics or homemade remedies. That changed in 1999, when I met a Rosel Heim consultant who kept her promise. Under her knowledgeable hands, supported by the Heim family’s expertise behind the scenes, my skin began to communicate again.
I have been devoted to the Rosel Heim family’s philosophy ever since. Behind it lies almost a century of knowledge, begun by Rosel and now carried forward by the third generation: knowledge built with heart, science and nature, always treating the skin for what it is — a living organism that communicates with us when we learn to listen.
This philosophy is kind to people, animals and the world around us: no animal testing, thoughtful choices in preservation and logistics, and effective care designed to work without attacking or overburdening the skin. Quite simply, Rosel Heim understood the skin.
Today, Ebb & Bloom brings together what has always mattered to me: attentive listening, personal care and respect for the individual. Just as music begins with listening, so does thoughtful skin care. Guided by the Rosel Heim family’s science-based philosophy, nature and the changing seasons, I help you and your skin feel at ease.

The seed of Ebb & Bloom has been planted, and we are growing one thoughtful step at a time. Appointments are offered on selected days as Ebb & Bloom gently grows, with more opportunities coming soon.
While we are still in this early season of growth, treatments are offered at a gentle introductory rate until April 2027.

Ebb & Bloom is devoted to women’s health and well-being. Although I regularly receive enquiries from men, I have made the conscious decision to offer treatments exclusively to women — creating a dedicated space where women’s needs, experiences and well-being remain at the heart of every treatment.

Acupuncture, coaching and Finnish physiotherapy are also available within the same practice, offered by other independent professionals.
Rosel Heim consultants are also available internationally: in Germany, home to the Heim family, as well as Austria, Switzerland, Canada and Norway.
As part of my wider commitment to health and well-being, I also offer Power Walking lessons in Turku — energising outdoor sessions that bring together brisk walking, strengthening exercises, fresh air and the pleasure of moving together.
